Services
Boat cleaning in Palamós and Port d'Aro, inside and out.
Exterior, interior, windows, stainless steel and teak. With the right product for each material, so the boat is ready when you arrive.
Request a quoteMediterranean salt, sun and humidity work against your boat every day it sits at its berth. A thorough clean is not just about looks: it removes the salt that pits stainless steel, the limescale that marks the windows and the organic residue that eventually turns the gelcoat yellow.
At RexMaris we clean motor boats and sailing yachts from 4 to 21 metres in Marina Palamós and Port d'Aro. We do it as a one-off service, before a trip or at the end of the season, or on a regular basis as part of an annual plan.

Exterior cleaning: gelcoat, windows and stainless steel
We start at the top and finish in the cockpit, so we never dirty what is already clean. We use neutral marine soaps that do not harm the gelcoat or the seals, and rinse with fresh water so no salt is left behind.
Windows and acrylic panels are treated with a dedicated descaler: marina water leaves limescale that bakes on in the sun. Stainless steel and deck hardware are cleaned and protected to slow down rust pitting.
Interior cleaning and disinfection
We vacuum and clean the cabins, saloon, galley and heads, with the right products for each surface: wood, upholstery, synthetics and steel. We air the boat to prevent damp and odours, the main problem for boats that stay closed up for weeks.
Carpets are cleaned by injection-extraction, and galley and head surfaces are disinfected. It is the clean worth doing at the start of the season, after a few days with guests on board, or before closing up the boat for the winter.
How often should a boat be cleaned?
It depends on how you use it. A boat that goes out almost every week needs a weekly exterior clean; one that is used less benefits from a thorough clean before each trip and a regular once-over so salt does not build up. If you are not sure, we will recommend a frequency once we have seen the boat.
