RexMaris looks after your boat afloat, at its berth in Marina Palamós or Port d'Aro, during the months you are not sailing: we run the engines, generator and electronics, check batteries and fluid levels, air the boat, watch the bilges, inspect covers and mooring lines and organise the annual haul-out.

More than locking the boat up until spring
Closing up the boat in autumn and not returning until spring usually proves expensive: humidity, mould, flat batteries and surprises on the first day of the season. With regular visits, the boat spends the winter aired, dry and watched over, and is ready to sail in spring.
After every storm or tramontana we go and check it and send you the report, so you never have to ask.
Every system kept running
Running the engines and generator regularly, checking battery charge and oil level, and making sure the bilge pumps work are simple tasks that prevent most mid-season breakdowns.
No repairs, one point of contact
We don't do mechanical repairs: our job is to keep the systems running, keep watch and warn you in good time. If we spot something that needs a mechanic, an electrician or an upholsterer, we tell you and, if you wish, coordinate it with the workshop you trust. You simply hear that it's done.
Safety equipment up to date
We check your safety equipment and its expiry dates, such as flares, fire extinguishers and the liferaft, and let you know in good time what needs renewing.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry out engine repairs?
No. We run and monitor the systems, but we don't carry out mechanical repairs. If one is needed, we tell you and coordinate it with the workshop of your choice.
How often should the engines be run?
Regularly is best, even if the boat does not go out. We agree the frequency with you according to the boat and the time of year.
Does the boat stay in the water?
Yes. Active winter care is done with the boat afloat, at its berth. If it also needs to come out of the water for the annual haul-out, we organise that too.
Is it only for winter?
The name comes from winter, when it matters most, but we do it all year round: whenever the boat spends weeks without going out.
Is it included in any plan?
Yes: active winter care, with the annual haul-out and antifouling, is part of the Platinum plan.
